The meeting was organized to summarize the activities of the Institute in the first 5 months of the year and to propose directions for the projects that will take place in the last two quarters of the year.
At the meeting, Dr. Vo Tri Thanh - new Director of BCSI officially presented himself to the members of the Council and the Advisory Board of the Institute. Former Director Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Van Nam was appointed as the Chairman of the Institute.
According to the Board of Directors, from the beginning of the year, the Institute has cooperated with the Vibiz Information Center, conducted surveys, researched and produced a series of reports on import and export, provided free for agencies, organizations as well as business communities. Most recently, the Institute has also cooperated with Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade; the Journal of Economics and Forecast - Ministry of Planning and Investment organized conferences, forum on topics: Export Promotion, Branding with Integration, Green Growth and Social Security ...
Orienting for the next time of 2018, the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board unanimously defined strategic directions as well as set specific targets for the Institute's upcoming research projects such as: Projects of studying local brand, agricultural product brand, goods industry brand as well as provincial competitiveness.
In addition, with the team of leading experts on brand and strategy, the Institute has been invited by the Trade Promotion Agency to formulate a project to improve the National Brand Program to submit to the Prime Minister later on.
Along with the missions of scientific research, consultancy, training, technology transfer and implementation capacity to build and develop the brand name for enterprises, sectors and localities, the Institute continues to organize conferences, seminars, talk shows about competitiveness, brand development, digital enterprises building... in order to create discussion, exchange and provide information between enterprises and management agencies.
